Bear Creek - In Prayer and Praise

Prayers of Thanksgiving & Praise:

  • Pray for the School of Church Ministry that the Lord sends us His chosen future Church Planters and their families so that we can equip and train them, so that when they are called out, we can lay hands on them and send them out to do God’s chosen work. Also, for those who wish to become Church leaders.
  • Pray for our Pastors and worship team.
  • Pray that more people become involved in the homeless ministry. The homeless ministry is collecting shoes, socks, underwear, and warm jackets for the men and women who are not blessed with housing.
  • Pray that more people donate food items to our church pantry. Canned goods with pull tabs are especially needed for the homeless ministry.
  • Pray that more people volunteer to help out with the children’s ministry.

Prayers for Health:

  • Yvette would like prayers for her cousin Robert who suffered a blood clot, edema, and lung complications after his quadruple bypass. He is home now and needs prayers for a full recovery.
  • Continue praying for Wendy who has Pseudotumor cerebri which causes her to have pressure in her skull. She had an emergency MRI done on her eyes. Her vision was blurry and they started her on a medication to reduce the amount of spinal fluid she has. Pray for a speedy recovery.
  • Continue praying for Tom. He found out recently that he has leukemia. Pray for a full recovery.
  • Continue praying for Elizabeth’s father, Artemio. He was transferred to UCSD hospital so that he can have the surgery that he needs. Pray for healing.
  • Vv is wanting continued prayers for God’s will in her battle with cancer. She is in the City of Hope. Pray that God will heal her and restore her health, so that she can continue to share her ministry. Vv is hoping to switch insurance providers so that she can get better care.
  • Continue praying for our family members and friends who are battling cancer.

Personal Prayers and Prayers for Salvation:

  • Seth would like prayers as he completes his MA TESOL program at Biola. Pray that the Lord will open the door for a career-launching placement-one that places him under a transformative mentor teacher. Pray that he becomes an ESL/EFL teacher who teaches with excellence and impact, deeply aligned with God’s calling.
  • Wendy wants continued prayers that our Heavenly Father grants her the gift of spiritual discernment-the ability to distinguish His voice from all other voices, to recognize His truth amidst confusion, and to follow His will with confidence.
  • Continue praying that Jonathan’s 2 children are located. His wife Zara and her mother abducted the kids one week ago. Jonathan is a 25- year- old Christian who lives in WY. Pray that he can locate his 2 kids and that he can find a good attorney to help him gain custody of his kids.

Prayer around the world:

  • Pray for the nation of Israel. Pray for protection over Israel and its people.
  • Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ suffering throughout the world.

Dried Up

God blesses us wit provisions daily, whether we recognize them or not.
Sometimes the provisions God gives us dry up. Maybe a car breaks down, a
job is lost, or a tree falls on your house. The important thing to remember is
to not panic. God will make a new way. This is not the time to question
God’s goodness because the brook dried up. It is the time to trust that God
will show you His love for you by preparing a new source of provision.
